Donegal Donkey Sanctuary are hosting a ‘Christmas Open House’ this weekend at their centre in Castledooey, Raphoe.

Visitors are welcome from 11-30am until 5pm on Saturday & Sunday. Come along and meet the resident donkeys, browse the gift shop for a beautiful gift for a donkey obsessed friend or maybe just treat yourself!

Donkey sponsorship packs are currently available at the sanctuary.

For €25 you will receive a donkey ‘adoption certificate’, a photograph of ‘your’ donkey, a bookmark and a Christmas decoration.

Check out the adoption donkeys on their website www.donegaldonkeysanc.com. It will be difficult to choose just one!

Tea/coffee, mince pies and tasty treats will be served. Come along and enjoy the festive atmosphere. You might make a new ‘furry friend’ on the day.
