Council to deploy gritters tonight as temperatures to plunge

Donegal County Council is to deploy its fleet of gritters across all primary routes in the county tonight.

Temperatures are set to plunge with hail showers already falling in many places.

Gritters are set to be deployed from 8pm this evening.
