Donegal defender Treasa Doherty was tonight named as a TG4 Ladies Football All-Star.
The Carndonagh woman was named at right corner-back on the team, which was announced at the annual All Star banquet, in association with Lidl, at the Citywest Hotel.
All-Ireland senior champions Dublin have been honoured with seven representatives on the team.
Dublin’s haul is an all-time best on an All Star team selection – as the 2010 and 2016 selections each contained six Sky Blues.
Doherty is one of five first-time winners included on the final selection and is the only Donegal player on the list.
Doherty had a super year as Donegal retained their Ulster senior title and reached the All-Ireland semi-finals.
