The R235 road between Castlefinn and Castlederg has been reopened to traffic following an earlier collision.

The incident occurred after lunchtime today (Thursday).

Gardaí have confirmed that the scene is now clear and traffic can access the route again.

Traffic continues to be slow on the N14 between Letterkenny and Lifford. There are two sets of traffic lights in the area for roadworks: one near the N13 junction at Drumoghill and the other by the Raphoe turn-off (R236).
