Listen: Eamon Dunne reflects on Glencar Celtic’s draw with Donegal Town

Eamon Dunne says the Glencar Inn Division One race could go any number of directions over the latter half of the season.

Glencar drew 0-0 with Donegal Town at Rathmullan this afternoon, on a day when Strand Rovers assumed the top spot.

However, only seven points stand between the top seven teams.

“The League is wide open,” Dunne, who has taken the reigns from Junior Russell, said.

“Hopefully we have a chance now for the second half of the season. There’ll be points taken off all teams. There’s a long way to go yet.”

On today’s stalemate, Dunne added: “It was a good, tough game. Donegal Town are well organised and they battled hard. We just didn’t take our chances. We didn’t hit a rhythm.”
