Gardai are investigating a shooting threat at a Donegal school.

The threat was made when a note was found during an exam at Magh Éne College in Bundoran last week.

The content of the note have not been disclosed but it is understood a threat was made.

Gardai have since become aware of the threat and are now liaising with school authorities.

No arrests have been made in relation to the incident but a full investigation has been launched.

A spokesman for the Garda Press office confirmed “Gardaí in Ballyshannon are liaising with school authorities following an incident reported to them on the 5th of December 2018, at a second level school in Bundoran. Investigations are ongoing.”
