A number of homes, businesses and farms in South Inishowen were without water last night due to a burst water main.

The disruption was reported around Crislamore outside Burnfoot late on Wednesday night.

Irish Water said they are working on the issue and expect to have supply restored at 3pm this Thursday, 20th December.

Householders are advised to allow 2-3 hours after the estimated restoration time for their supply to fully return.

This water outage comes after a water main burst in the Culdaff area early on Wednesday, supplies were restored by late afternoon.
