Martin Harley had a 33/1 double at Wolverhampton this evening.

The in-form Trentagh jockey rode 15/2 Doctor Sardonicus to victory for Tom Dascombe and the 3/1 Alaskan Bay for Rae Guest.

Aboard Doctor Sardonicus, Harley won the 6.45pm race, leading from early on and pushing out over the final furlong to win by one-and-a-quarter lengths from Foxy Forever, the 6/1 shot ridden by Franny Norton.

On Alaskin Bay, Harley won the Betway Casino Handicap by a quarter-of-a-length from the 11/4 favourite Red Stripes.

It’s now 86 winners for Harley in 2018 and the Donegal man is back in action tomorrow with two mounts at Lingfield.

Meanwhile, Oisin Orr was a narrow second at Dundalk tonight. Orr was on J8/1 Feisty Katerina and was pipped by a short head by Mcguigan in an all-out sprint over the final stages.
