Deputy Pat the Cope Gallagher has slammed the attack on a private house in Burtonport over the festive season.
Ten tyres were slashed and two cars damaged during the attack in Burtonport on Christmas night.
Deputy Gallagher said he unreservedly condemned the damage caused.
He said “No one can understand a motive for such an attack. Anyone with information should make contact with the Gardaí.
“Hopefully the perpetrator or perpetrators will be brought to justice.”
Donegal Daily first revealed details of the attack yesterday.
Maureen Bonner said she was outraged at whoever carried out the attack at her family home in Keadue.
The damage to the cars was first noticed at 7am on St Stephen’s Day but took place some time earlier.
