Ballybofey and Stranorlar Golf Club: Fantastic turn for Captains Drive-In

There was a fantastic turn out in what’s been hailed as the best Captains Drive-In in the clubs history.

With over 80 people taking part and more in the clubhouse to help celebrate, New Club Captain Seán Carlin said he was delighted with the turnout for what always is a fun day.
Flanked by Club President Loman O’Dowd and Lady Captain Emer Kee, Seán said that he prayed hard to the gods for good weather and the Lord answered in abundance.
Also present were Vice Captain, Lawrence Devenney, Lady Vice Captain. Birdie Faulkner, Vice President, Margaret Hynes, Past Captain Gerry Driver and last but certainly not least   Past Lady Captain, Josephine Stewart.
Lady Captain Emer presented the prize for the Ladies Drive-In to Sharon Moloney and Denny McClean with an excellent 23pts received the men’s prize from Captain Seán.
A big thank you to all who showed up for the Drive-In, New comp sec, Paul Quinn was on hand to do his first competition. Thank you to the bar staff, kitchen staff and to John Patton for having our flags proudly flying.
