How Letterkenny parkrun helps people achieve New Year’s resolutions – for free!

The first Saturday of 2019 was a promising sign for the Letterkenny parkrun community, as 110 people turned out for a fun run/walk in the park.

The parkrun ethos is: ‘parkrun is for everyone: locally driven, and as much about friendship, community and supporting sustainable lifestyle change as it is about running’

So, if you’ve set a goal to move more, feel better physically and mentally, and get more involved in the community this year, why not come along to this weekly event?

Becoming involved in a parkrun either as participant or as a volunteer will tick all of these boxes.

The Letterkenny parkrun volunteers are wishing all current and future participants a Happy New Year.

Everyone is invited to come along to Letterkenny parkrun to walk, stroll, jog or run. It happens every Saturday morning at 9:30 in St Conals, Kilmacrennan Rd, Letterkenny. There is free parking for all participants up until 11am. You can register once at the following link:
https://www.parkrun.ie/register/

Remember you need register only once, and parkrun is free every week.

Parkrun is the largest running event on the planet with more than 1,600 global events and approx 250,000 people taking part in a parkrun in any given weekend.

“The spirit of parkrun is free and fun,” said a local spokesperson.
