Catherine Grier netted a 75th minute winner for Mulroy, the defending champions at this grade.

St Joseph’s took the lead after just eight minutes when Cliodhna Flynn fired home at the second attempt after being denied by Mulroy ‘keeper and captain Clare Friel.

Within three minutes, Mulroy drew level as Republic of Ireland Deaf Women’s Futsal ace Grier riffled in from the edge of the box.

St Joseph’s regained the lead on 26 minutes as Flynn lofted an effort over Friel and in.

Friel kept Mulroy in it with some fine saves and the Donegal side were back level when Laura Dugera tapped in after getting on the end of a Kelly Ann Buchanan corner.

When Grier tucked home, Mulroy were on their way after a scare and they return to the final with the silverware firmly in sight again.
