Gardai are investigating the theft of a large quantity of tools from a premises in Ramelton at the weekend.
The premises on the Moyle Road was broken into between 6pm on Friday and 9am on Saturday.
A Garda spokesman said “A large quantity of tools were stolen and it is likely these tools will appear for sale in the near future.
“We are appealing for anyone with information on this incident or anyone who is offered tools for sale to contact Milford Garda Station on 074 9153114 or any Garda Station.”
Milford Gardai are appealing for any assistance on the theft.
And a spokesman warned people that buying tools door-to-door is only adding to the black market.
“Remember, if you purchase anything from someone selling tools/property/services door to door and it doesn’t appear legitimate then you are aiding these criminals in their activity.
“If a deal seems too good to be true then it generally is. Please report any suspicious activity.”
