Pobalscoil Ghaoth Dobhair squandered a two-goal cushion in this afternoon’s FAI Schools John Murphy National Cup semi-final.

Two goals in the final five minutes saw St Joseph’s, Foxford snatch the win from beneath the west Donegal scholars’ noses.
Goals from Mark McFadden and Patrick Dixie Ferry had Pobalscoil Ghaoth Dobhair two ahead at half-time.
McFadden fired in a cracking opening goal in the 40th minute.
And it got even better when Ferry tucked in a rebound after Cathal Ferry was denied by a super save by St Joseph’s goalkeeper Brian McMahon.
Earlier, McMahon saved a Jamie Doherty free and McFadden forced the ‘keeper into a double-save at the rebound.
St Joseph’s pulled one back ten minutes into the second half when Conor Flynn riffled to the net.
On 85 minutes, they drew level via Mikey Lowther and the remarkable comeback was completed when Liam Durkan headed home two minutes later.
