Ballybofey’s Villa Rose Hotel and Spa was today revealed as one of the top hotels in Ireland, as chosen by TripAdvisor reviewers.
The 2019 TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice Awards ranked Villa Rose Hotel & Spa at #11 in the Best Irish hotels category. The Ballybofey based boutique hotel features among a number of prestigious castle hotels and manor houses.
This is the fifth year in a row that Villa Rose has been in the Top 25 list, while a particular emphasis was put on guest satisfaction to maintain their high standards. The 4-star hotel also featured highly in the romance category with their spa being one of the top reasons guests chose the Villa Rose.
Hoteliers Tommy and Bridget Gallen of the family-run hotel gave credit to their dedicated and hard working staff who have achieved this award on behalf of the business. They also gave thanks to their guests who have contributed feedback over the past year, allowing them to continually improve their offering.
Donegal featured highly in the awards with three hotels named in the top 25 for 2019. This is a credit to the high standard of hospitality within the county with neighbouring Harvey’s Point once again named as the #1 Hotel in Ireland.
