Francie Martin has taken over as manager of Dungloe, the club has announced.

Martin managed Bundoran for the last two years, taking the Stars of the Sea to the Division 2 title in 2018.

The Glenfin native has managed Glenswilly, Glenfin and Naomh Colmcille. He was at the helm when Glenswilly won the Intermediate Championship and subsequently reached a senior final in 2007.

In 2015, he guided Naomh Colmcille to the Intermediate final, which they lost heavily to Bundoran.

Last year, as well as overseeing Bundoran, he managed the Glenfin senior ladies to the Donegal SFC title.

Dungloe were relegated from Division1 and will play in Division 2 of the All-County Football League in 2019, while the Rosses Park side retained their Senior Championship status.
