Outraged woman spends three hours crying ‘foul’ over discarded dog poo

A well-known community activist spent three and a half hours highlighting dog poo in her hometown – just to raise the issue.

Valerie McNulty, a candidate in the forthcoming local elections, went around Ballyshannon yesterday highlighting the issue.

And she was left crying ‘foul’ with the amount of defecating dogs doing the business on the streets of the town with no owners picking up after them.

Valerie used chalk to highlight dozens of cases where people had allowed their dogs to foul payments and roads.

A clearly enraged Valerie said “It’s disgusting that streets are left like this and it’s unbelievable that you have to tell grown adults clean up after their dogs.”

She received huge support for her initiative on social media with many people telling how so many dog owners across the county are allowing their dogs to leave messages behind them without bagging the waste.
