Letterkenny man Andrew McGeever was part of the Killester basketball side which beat UCD/Marian in the Men’s National Cup Final.
Andrew, a former Letterkenny Blaze player, was part of the Killester team which triumphed at the National Arena in what proved to be a hugely absorbing game.
It was end to end stuff but Killester finally managed to do enough to squeeze out their rivals.
One of the first things Andrew did after the victory over the reigning champions was to embrace his parents Ian and Aileen and the rest of his family who made the journey to Dublin to support him.
