2018 Donegal Sports Star of the Year Sommer Lecky says she ‘just wants to keep raising that bar’.

The Finn Valley AC high jumper was last night named the Donegal Sports Star of the Year following a year in which she won silver at the World U20 Championships in Finland.

Lecky also competed at the Commonwealth Games in Australia, where she finished 10th.

“I don’t like to put pressure on myself. I just want to keep raising that bar and keep jumping as well as I can jump,” she told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub last night.
