Listen: ‘We have three weeks to get it right – and we need to get it right’

Ollie Horgan says Finn Harps need to ‘get it right’ for the start of the season as they return to the Premier Division.

After winning promotion via a play-off win over Limerick, Harps are heading into a ten-team Premier Division for the first time.

“The sooner it starts the better,” said Horgan.

“It’s great to be there and great to be in it, albeit we know how difficult it will be.”

Horgan is close to having finalised his panel for the new term, with several new faces added and the manager on the look-out for ‘one or two more’.

“We’re not there yet,” Horgan said.

“We’re hoping to get one or two more in.”

Referencing Friday’s 3-0 defeat to Derry City at the Brandywell, Horgan added:  “We were well off the pace in the Brandywell, physically, sharpness and football-wise in the first half-an-hour. We have three weeks to get it right – and we need to get it right.”
