There was a brilliant 24/7 contingent in action at the Kilmacrennan 10k on Sunday morning.

A tough hilly course, it was a good course to start the season off on and that didn’t stop 24/7 members running a number of PB’s.

Ben Carr was the first club member to cross the finish line in a superb time of 35:10, 4th overall. Gavin Crawford and Paul Cullen also had great runs, both finishing in a brilliant 37:50- Paul with a 10k PB. Paul McIntyre is well used to the hills of Kilmacrenan and also ran well, crossing the line in 39:31.

Natasha Kelly had a fantastic race, winning 1st female in a brilliant 39:43, a PB of 70 seconds for Natasha. Paul Doherty crossed the line in 40:42.

New recruit Terence Diver ran a brilliant 41:08. Fionnuala Larkin just pipped Matthew McKinley by one second, finishing in 43:43 and 43:44 respectively. Pat Brady, in the black and amber of LAC, wasn’t too far behind, finishing in 44:17.

Aidan McFadden had a good run crossing the finish line in 48:29 with Enda Carr hot on his heels with a fine run of 48:50. Desiree Casburn will be delighted with her finish time of 49:06, as will Anne Robinson who was just 34 seconds behind in 49:40.

Rachael Stilvern also started off her racing season in fine form with a PB time of 51:36. Martina McDaid ran well crossing the finish line in 54:27 and Patrick Patton in a time of 59:48.
