Presenter and reporter Ciara Doherty has welcomed a new arrival this week with husband Richard Stern.
The Letterkenny woman gave birth to a baby girl on Monday, Xpose.ie reports.
Both mum and baby are said to be doing great. There are no announcements a name as of yet, but it was revealed that the baby weighed a healthy 7lbs.
Ciara made her pregnancy announcement live on TV3’s Ireland AM last July, saying that she and Richard felt ‘incredibly lucky’ that they were expecting. The couple tied the knot in Barcelona in August 2017.
Ciara, who is also a qualified barrister, has been working in radio and television for over a decade. She was appointed as Ireland AM’s new permanent co-host last year.
