Donegal’s Mickey Joe Harte is getting his iconic green guitar ready for a very important date on The Late Late Show.

The Lifford singer-songwriter has been revealed in the line-up of the RTE chat show’s Valentine’s Day special this Friday night.

The Valentine’s edition is always a hot favourite among Late Late fans, as over 200 eager singletons are selected for the audience in the hope that they’ll find love live on air. The theme of romance is boosted through audience games, special guests and music performances.

Harte, of Eurovision 2003 fame, has hinted online that he’ll be reviving his famous green guitar from Riga for the occasion.

Other guests on the romantic Late Late Show line-up are Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews, actor Kenneth Branagh, along with performances from Whigfield and comedy dance duo Lords of Strut.
