The Donegal Down Syndrome group is hosting a workshop in Letterkenny this month sharing advice on supporting students with Down Syndrome in school.

The two-hour event takes place on 18th February in the Mount Errigal Hotel.

Experienced Speech and Language Therapist Nicola Hart is the keynote speaker. Nicola has worked for over 20 years with people who have Down Syndrome and their families.

Nicola believes strongly that research should inform practice, and represents Down Syndrome Ireland annually at the European Down Syndrome Research Forum.

She is active in disseminating information from research to families and professionals working with people who have Down syndrome via training, conferences and the Down Syndrome Ireland magazine.

Registration is from 10.30am and booking is essential.

Please call 0749103527 to book your place.

Feel free to forward any concerns or issues you would like discussed or have more information on by emailing: donegaldownsyndrome@eircom.net
