A new pedestrian crossing is to be installed at the Aura Leisure Centre in Letterkenny.

A budget of €20,000 has been allocated under the Low Cost Accidents budget for the installation of the crossing.

Councillor Gerry McMonagle asked for an update at this month’s Letterkenny Municipal District Meeting.

A Council spokesperson said: “Area Roads are developing design with the Roads Design section, with a view to installing in the coming months.”
