There was a good turn out of players for the Wednesday Open at the Letterkenny Golf Club as Martin Gallagher (6.1) ran out the winner with the best Gross and an excellent score of 42 pts.

Martin took 17 pars and one bogey out of the course. The runner up was Gordon Dickenson (25.0) with 42 pts. and Greg Sullivan (17.5) was third with 39 pts.

Forty-two points now seems to be the average score to win a competition even during the winter season.

The Open Member Competition on Saturday, February 16, was won by Kevin Rafferty (4.1) with 41 pts.
Kevin had four birdies (on the 5th, 7th, 15th & 18th) along with 11 pars. Gerard Harkin (14.8) was the runner up with 40 pts. (BOT) and Sean Hensey was third 40 pts.
The Sunday Members Competition on February 17 was won by Daniel Carlin (27.6) with 38 pts. (BOT) Daniel took 2 pars and 10 bogeys out of the course.
Runner up was Kyle Loughrey (24.2)  with 38 pts. (BOT) and Josef Dadon (28.1) was third with 38 pts.
