Gardaí have advised of a number of measures that are in place for Sunday’s Gaelic football doubler-header at O’Donnell Park, Letterkenny.

Donegal’s senior ladies play Monaghan at 12 noon in the LIDL National Football League while Donegal’s senior men face Fermanagh in the Allianz Football League at 2pm.

A large crowd is expected for the games.

Gardaí have confirmed that the road from Kernan’s Spar to O’Donnell Park will be closed to traffic from 12.30pm, with limited access for local people.

A Garda statement said: “People attending the game are encouraged to arrive early and avail of parking in the town and walk to the ground or avail of shuttle bus which will be available from Kernan’s Spar.

“The road will also be closed after the game until all spectators have dispersed.”
