A second defeat in a row put a chink in Donegal’s armour this afternoon as Fermanagh left Letterkenny with their unbeaten record intact.
Rory Gallagher’s side lead the way alongside Meath at the top of Division 2 – and leaves Donegal in need of a win to ensure that their push for an immediate return to Division 1 doesn’t come off the tracks.

Donegal host Armagh next weekend in Ballybofey before traveling to Cork on St Patrick’s weekend and they finish their League programme with a home tie against Kildare in Ballyshannon.
Things are tight in the Division after the latest round of games.
An eventful first half at the Athletic Grounds today ended with Armagh leading 1-9 to 0-7.
Charlie Vernon’s goal kept Armagh ahead, while Tipp suffered from the sending of Brian Fox on 25 minutes.
Vernon’s goal ignited Armagh and they won 1-15 to 0-12.
Kildare overcame Clare 1-16 to 0-13 in Newbridge, with Kevin Feely netting the goal from a penalty after Gordon Kelly fouled Ben McCormick in the 13th minute.
Neil Flynn helped himself to five points, while Eoin Cleary’s six points kept them in check for some of the way.
Clare, though, would finish with 14 men as Cormac Murray was sent off in added time at the end.
On Saturday night, Meath denied Cork their first win as the Royals won away 2-12 to 1-9.
Gavin McCoy scored a goal in his first Meath start, while sub Barry Dardis added a second Meath goal after Seán Powter gave Cork a glimmer of hope.
