Thieves have targeted a Co Donegal church and stolen cash from candle offertory boxes.
The robbery took place at St Patrick’s Church in Killygordon on Sunday evening.
It is understood the raiders were disturbed by local priest Fr Frankie Lynch but they managed to flee.
This is the second time in recent weeks that the church has been targeted.
It is not known how much money was taken in the robbery.
