The service known as Co. Donegal Citizens Information Service Ltd is set to be renamed under new company changes.

Presentations were made to the former Chairpersons Lorraine Thompson and Angela Holhan and Board Members recently at an event in Castle Grove.

The gathering marked the end of an era and the service known as Co. Donegal Citizens Information Service Ltd., which had been in existence since February 1998, due to the planned reorganisation of the Citizens Information Service Companies nationally.

This planned transfer of the business, assets and liabilities of Co. Donegal Citizens Information Service CLG, to North Connacht & Ulster Citizens Information Service CLG is taking place as a result of the reorganisation of CIS / MABS companies.

The public can rest assured that the day to day operations and service delivery of Co. Donegal Citizens Information Service will continue as usual and will be carried out as normal under the name of North Connacht & Ulster Citizens Information Service CLG.

Services will continue to be available at Citizens Information Centres located in Buncrana, Ballyshannon, Letterkenny, Milford, Carndonagh, Donegal Town and Dungloe.
