There was a large turnout on Wednesday, February 27 as Joe Blake (10.9) was the winner with a score of forty pts.

Blake had one birdie on the 11th and nine pars.  Gary Loveridge (11.5) was runner up with thirty-nine pts. (BOT) and Martin Gallagher (6.0) with thirty-nine pts. Won Gross and was also third.

Due to inclement weather conditions on Saturday, March 2 it was decided not to hold a competition even though a small number of golfers turned out to play.

However, Sunday was a different story a large number of Golfers played in the Members Competition. Liam Moriarty (23.0) took the winners prize with an excellent score of forty-three pts. Liam took six pars out of the course.

Martin Kelly (15.5) was runner up with forty-two pts and Gary Loveridge (11.3) won third (BOT).  Kevin Rafferty (4.1) won Gross with thirty-nine pts.

The Get into Golf Programme commences again in 2019. It has been very successful since its commencement in 2016. It appeals to people who would like to take up golf but for whatever reason it just does not happen. The Get into Golf Programme provides Golf Clubs, Golf Bag and balls.

New members are given a chance to learn the basics of the game as well as the rules and etiquette of golf. There is also a follow up with a buddy system where new members can go out with a club member to play the course.

Ivan Fury and Veronica Mc Ateer are running the Get into Golf Programme and can be contacted on (074)9121150

Membership Options & Costs for Letterkenny Golf Club maybe of interest to visitors over the upcoming holiday period.  Country Member living between 10 & 49 miles costs €300.

Country Member living between 50+ miles costs €175 and Overseas Members costs €150.
