Areas of Donegal are without electricity this afternoon due to disruptive weather.

The severe weather has affected power supplies at almost 2500 homes in areas surrounding Milford.

Power outages have been reported in these areas and the ESB have said they are currently working to repair the faults.

It is expected that power may not return until later this afternoon.

The estimated repair completion time is 5.45pm on Sunday 10th March.

More updates to come as the bad weather continues to affect the north-west.
