Glengad United set for ANOTHER away day in Junior Cup semi-final

The curse of the draw has struck once more for Glengad United – who have been handed another AWAY tie for the FAI Junior Cup semi-finals.

Glengad, 3-1 winners at Clonmel Town in their quarter-final, have been paired with St Michael’s FC of Tipperary.

Shane Byrne’s Glengad will be away to the 2014 FAI Junior Cup winners.

Glengad scored a superb win today with Connor Barrow, Terence Doherty and Christy Fildara on the mark to fire them into the semis for the first time.

Now, Glengad stand one game away from the Aviva Stadium.

But, first, they’ll have to negotiate a way past St Michael’s, one of the competition favourites.

In the other semi-final, Regional United – who defeated favourites Sheriff YC – will be home to fellow Limerick side Aisling Annacotty.

The FAI Junior Cup semi-finals take place on the weekend ending Sunday, April 7.
