Daniel and Majella O’Donnell had a whale of a time on the first episode of their US Road Trip series.
Viewers enjoyed the adventures just as much as the O’Donnell did when the new series aired on RTE last night.
Sunday’s programme saw the celebrity couple beginning their trip deep through the Mid-West of America.
The ever-game couple embraced a number of exciting adventures in Milwaukee and Wisconsin. But one particular activity left viewers in absolute stitches.
Daniel and Majella got suited up to head out on the lakes with the Mad City Water Ski Team. Poor Daniel had to overcome his fear of water, but Majella’s experience was simply ‘gas’.
“I’m full of wind I’m so nervous,” she warned, as she climbed on the shoulders of a big burly waterskier.

It seemed that toilet humour was the theme of the day.
Daniel and Majella also visited superfan Helen Lynne, whose home is packed with Daniel merchandise.
There were so many Daniel faces throughout her home, but nobody expected to see his photo on the toilet seat cover!
Daniel’s reaction was priceless:
“Aw holy God,” he exclaimed.
“That is a sight.”
“Oh ho!”
“I’d never expected to see myself on a toilet seat.”
Viewers enjoyed all the fun and fandom of the feel-good episode. Online commenters were full of praise for Daniel and Majella’s enthusiasm for every activity.
