Baker Kevin hoping for a slice of political life

Well-known local baker Kevin Bradley from Beechwood Road in Letterkenny is set to run for the local elections as an Independent Candidate.

The popular local man says he is looking forward to the challenge.

“I have always had an interest in politics and its something I have wanted to do for a long time.

I believe a town the size of Letterkenny is in need of more representation on the County Council and with my background in business I am aware of the difficulties that business people and locals face on a day to day basis.

“We are in the very early stages of our campaign and we will be asking the people of our electoral area over the next few weeks to help from our manifesto.

“We shall be launching our campaign on the 22nd March 2019 and will be inviting everyone to attend.”

Kevin was born in McClure’s Terrace and over the years is well known for making deliveries throughout the county along with his father in the family business.

In 2000 he set up Highland Bakery at the Mountain Top which employed 24 people.

Kevin is no stranger to challenges having in the last few years battled his own demons losing over 14 stone in weight going from 28st to 14st.
