Hundreds of homes without power as Storm Gareth reaches Donegal

Storm Gareth is hitting landfall across Donegal this afternoon with hundreds of homes across the county now without power.

ESB networks are reporting that more than 300 homes are without supply at present.

The main outages are in Cullion, Letterkenny where more than 116 customers are without power due to a fault.

In north Inishowen a cluster of faults has left at least another 150 homes without power.

ESB networks estimate that it will be 6pm until the faults are fixed.
