Traffic delays and diversions are expected on the N56 this afternoon when efforts get underway to recover an articulated truck that has left the road.
The accident happened in the Griall area on the N56 between Loughanure and Dungloe. It is understood the lorry was travelling via Dungloe at the time.
The vehicle is badly off the road and it is expected a crane will be on site in the coming hours to recover it.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution in the area.
