Social Entrepreneurs Ireland (SEI) are calling-out for people across the country with ideas and initiatives that address social issues in Irish society to apply for support.
Their new programme ‘Don’t let a good idea go to waste!’ is looking for people with early-stage ideas as well as those who are ready to grow and scale their existing projects before the deadline on March 21.
There are two ways that social entrepreneurs and aspiring social entrepreneurs can apply for support from SEI – The Academy and The Awards Programme.
The Academy for Social Entrepreneurs is a six-month programme, 45 people with early-stage ideas will win a place in the Academy for Social Entrepreneurs where they will receive training, mentoring and support along with an opportunity to pitch for seed funding, to spark their idea into action.
For the Awards Programme, six winners will be chosen in this category, to support people with projects tackling social problems, providing both direct funding and targeted support.
Applications for the Awards Programme and the Academy close at midnight on 21st March.
