The big-hitting Garbhan Fullerton played some of his most consistent golf for a while to take first prize last weekend in the Garbhan James Bradley Open Stroke. Full round-up below.

Garbhan James Bradley Open Stroke

Garbhan will be delighted with his maiden victory and there is no doubt with his distance of the tee it will not be long before his handicap comes tumbling down.

The full results of the James Bradley Circle K Open Stableford are as follows; 1st Garbhan Fullerton (20) 57 nett, 2nd Brendan Murphy (9) 62 nett, Gross Oliver Doherty (3) 69 gross, 3rd Michael V. Dessel (14) 64 nett b.o.t., Best day Ciaran Mc Laughlin (10) 64 nett b.o.t. & Back 9 Derek Smith (7) 31 nett b.o.t.

Mini-League

The semi-finals of the Mini-League took place last weekend and with the blustery weather on Sunday morning it was always going to be the pairings who managed the conditions the best that would come out on top. The pairing of Mark Monaghan & Sean T. Murphy played some excellent golf in some very testing conditions to beat the Oliver Doherty & Mickey Mc Cann.

In the other semi-final, Shaun Devlin & Henry McDaid managed to overcome Hugh Doherty & Tony Mc Sherry by the narrowest of margins with this match going to the last hole.

The final will take place this weekend and with Mark Monaghan & Sean T. Murphy toppling the favourites in the semi-finals they will be going into he final in a very positive frame of mind.

However, the stalwart pairing of Shaun Devlin & Henry Mc Daid are starting to show the potential this pairing have and will be looking forward to their first final in a major club competition.
