Gaoth Dobhair cyclist Clodagh Ní Ghallchóir is pedalling in the fast lane

Gaoth Dobhair cyclist Clodagh Ní Ghallchóir, competing for AAA Cycling Club, has won three out of three races in as many weeks.

Clodagh’s first win of the Ulster women’s league was at The George Rooney Phoenix GP hosted by Phoenix CC on the 3rd of March 2019.

Clodagh’s second win of the league was at the John Haldane Memorial hosted by Newry Wheelers Cycling club on the 10th of March 2019.

On Sunday 24th March Clodagh won her third Ulster women’s league race and Irish Intermediate Women’s League combined.

Clodagh will be travelling to Belgium to race on Sunday to guest for the Irish Cycle Sport International Cycling Project Team taking part in the Gent – Wevelgem under 19 international women’s race.

Clodagh is a 5th year pupil at Pobalscoil Ghaoth Dobhair and is coached and managed by Peter McBride of AAA Cycling Club.
