Fianna Fail’s Donal Coyle to launch his election campaign this weekend

Local election candidate Donal Coyle to launch his election campaign this Sunday the 14th of April in the Clanree Hotel at 8pm.

Dara Calleary T.D, Deputy Leader of Fianna Fáil and Director of Elections will be the guest speaker on the night.

Donal is joined on the Fianna Fáil ticket with Councillor Ciaran Brogan and Manus Kelly.

Donal, who is a former school teacher for forty years and school principal for 32 years, is married to Kathleen and has nine children and fifteen grandchildren.

He has a strong political, sporting and community background. He is well known as Chairperson of Bonagee United, Treasurer of the Ulster Senior League and Vice Chairperson of the Ulster Football Association.

He is also the treasurer of the Lurgybrack Text Alert and the chairperson of the TEN T N56/N13 Letterkenny -Lurgybrack to Manor Roundabout Committee.

In politics, he is Secretary of Lurgybrack Fianna Fáil Cumann, Chairperson of the Letterkenny/Milford Fianna Fáil Comhairle Ceantair and Joint Treasurer of Donegal FiannaFáilComhairleDáilCeantair.

Donal said “Putting people and local issues first is what I am about. I have always worked hard for my community and if given the platform in Donegal County Council I feel I could do a lot more. I am very grateful for the support I have already received and I am looking forward to my launch on Sunday night”.
