Division Two champions Kerrykeel finished off their season with a well-deserved win over Curragh Athletic.

The home team played against the breeze in the first half and started strong with Paddy Carr putting them in front on 10 minutes after heading home a Kevin Mc Gonigle cross.

Curragh drew level on 20 minutes when Micky Black scored direct from a free kick.

Curragh took the lead on the stroke of half time when Keelan Mc Daid headed home from a corner.

With the wind at their back for the second half Kerrykeel dominated possession and had numerous chances to score but the Curragh keeper was having a fantastic game.

Kerrykeel drew level with 20 minutes remaining when Johnny Friel scored from the spot after the lively Evan Hewitt was fouled in the area.

Five minutes later they were in front with Kevin Mc Gonigle scoring from close range after good build up play from Sean Little.

Curragh could not get out of their box and Kerrykeel struck the cross bar twice in quick succession from Michael Mc Devitt and Johnny Friel free kicks.

Referee Gerald Devine blew the whistle to end a fantastic season for the Kerrykeel side.

Referee: Gerald Devine.
