Donegal contestants on RTE’s Winning Streak continued the county’s recent luck on Saturday as they scooped over €100,000 between them.

The lotto success could also continue in a fortnight’s time when Newtoncunningham native Mary Doran will be among five players taking part in the next show.

While none of the Donegal contingents were selected to spin the wheel, Sarah McCarron from Clonmany, Chris Gillespie from Carrick, and Kathleen Coyle from St Johnston all took part or was represented on the prime time show.

Christopher Boyce from Strabane represented his wife’s auntie Kathleen on the show and by the end won a car worth €25,000 and an additional €20,000.

St Johnston woman, McCarron, scooped €45,000 and a holiday worth over €3000, while Chris Gillespie won €50,000 and a holiday also worth €3000.
