A Donegal County Councillor says he fears that a serious accident will occur if nothing is done to improve safety at a road bend in St Johnston.

Cllr Gerry Crawford is calling on the council to take whatever action possible to slow traffic at the corner opposite the village church.

“There has been numerous accidents at this location recently and I fear worse will happen. Measures must be taken to slow traffic,” Cllr Crawford said.

“I also appeal to drivers to slow down and exercise caution over the Easter Holiday,” he added.
