Two-from-two in Youth League for Swilly after second-half rout of Gweedore

Swilly Rovers made it two-from-two in the Donegal Youth League with a big win over Gweedore United at Swilly Park.

McLaughlin of Swilly tested Gweedore keeper Aidan Griffin with a 25-yard piledriver on 15 minutes.

Swilly broke the deadlock on 33 minutes when Michael Murray’s superb long throw in found Evan Hewitt and he fired home in some style from eight yards.

Micheal Murray with a fine six-yard drive went close for Swilly on 35 minutes.

Patrick McFadden in the Swilly goal produced a wonder save to deny Ronan Turk on 40 minutes.

Superb play by Swilly’s Oran Dunworth set up Matthew McLaughlin who fired narrowly wide on the stroke of half time.

Swilly went two up on 50 minutes..Eoin Logue’s superb now and crossed set up Matthew McLaughlin, who produced a clinical finish from close range.

Lee Mc Paul made it three on 55 minutes when he finished from close range.
Even Hewitt made it four with a fine solo effort.

Evan Hewitt super strike to make it five and Oran Dunworth with a penalty added to it.
