Extras, extras! Fancy being an extra for a film in Donegal?

Fancy being an extra for a new film being shot in West Donegal?

Twin Eye Films are shooting their new film Hot House at Annagry in the Rosses.

They are looking for extras between the ages of seven to seventeen and teenage boys in particular.

The scene is being shot on location in the beautiful landscape of Heather Loughs. Shooting starts on Tuesday 23rd April until Friday 26th April. Extras must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Paul Maguire from Twin Eye films said this would be excellent acting experience for any young people interested in drama or film who need an addition to their portfolio.

“Our previous film Eudaimonia was nominated for best cinematography at the Underwire Short Film Festival.

“The location was chosen from a countrywide search for its scenic qualities and vernacular architecture. The thatched cottage which appeared in the book Donegal Cottages is nearby to the scenic Heather Loughs. It was restored from a ruin in 2009 by the owner,” said a spokesperson.

Anyone interested in appearing in the film should contact Janine Westbury on 086 218 3694.
