Several areas surrounding Ballindrait are without water this afternoon due to a major burst pipe.
Drumnahaw, Springhill, Backlands, Ballindrait and surrounding areas in the county are reported to have been affected by the ruptured pipeline.
Irish Water crews are working on fixing the issue but it is unknown when the water outage will be completely restored.
The works have an estimated completion time of 7pm on April 19.
Irish Water has warned that the supply may take 2-3 hours to fully return to all affected properties.
