Listen: ‘We need to dig something out before it’s too late’ – Ollie Horgan

Ollie Horgan says his Finn Harps ‘will keep battling ‘til ‘we’re done’ after a tenth successive League defeat.

Conor Clifford and Mikey Drennan netted as St Patrick’s Athletic left Ballybofey with a 2-0 win this evening.

“We need mentally to be a lot tougher, to grin and bear it and to dig something out before it’s too late,” Horgan told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.

“Sooner or later, please God something will fall for us.

“They’re a very good bunch of lads. Are they struggling mentally and physically with it? They probably are.

“There is no bad egg in it and that’s the killer. It’s hurting us. They need to pick themselves up and go to Sligo, which won’t be easy. It’s a battle and we’ll keep battling ‘til we’re done.”
