Met Eireann has issued a yellow weather alert for Donegal as Storm Hannah moves in.
The weather warning will be in place from 11pm on Friday and 9am on Saturday.
It reads: “Becoming very windy on Friday night and for a time on Saturday morning,” said Met Éireann
“Southerly winds will veer northwesterly and reach mean speeds of 50-65km/h with gusts of 90 to 110 km/h.”
The Road Safety Authority has asked road users to exercise caution during the weather.
It has urged road users to be aware of objects being blown out onto the road, and to expect the unexpected.
Drivers are advised to allow extra space between themselves and other road users such as cyclists.
