Twelve Donegal drivers arrested over Bank Holiday weekend

Twelve people were arrested by Donegal Gardaí in relation to drink and drug driving incidents over the May Bank Holiday weekend.

A number of offences were detected at various roadside checkpoints over the busy weekend.

Four drink driving and two drug driving arrests were made in Letterkenny in recent days.

Three drunk drivers were detected in Buncrana along with one drug driver in the region.

Two more drivers were found driving over the legal limit in Milford.

Court proceedings will follow in the near future.
